1. About the Service
BeginCAMERA ("Service") is an AI-powered web service for photography learners and enthusiasts, offering photo analysis, learning content, and gear recommendations. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
- The Service is free for anyone to use.
- Users under 14 years of age require consent from a legal guardian.
- The Service may be used for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
3. AI Service Structure and Disclosure
The AI analysis feature uses OpenAI GPT Vision API.
Image data is transmitted to OpenAI servers via Cloudflare AI Gateway.
OpenAI does not use API data for model training (per OpenAI's API usage policy; subject to change).
- AI analysis results are reference information generated by an automated model.
- For photos without EXIF data, values are estimated by AI from visual cues and may differ from actual settings.
- The accuracy of analysis results is not guaranteed.
4. Photo Uploads and Copyright
- Copyright of uploaded photos remains with the uploader.
- You may only upload photos you have taken yourself or have permission to use.
- Uploading photos that infringe on others' copyright or portrait rights is prohibited.
- Uploaded photos are processed solely for AI analysis and deleted immediately after.
5. Image Sources
Sample and example images used in this service are sourced from:
Unsplash (unsplash.com) — Free to use under the Unsplash License. Commercial and non-commercial use permitted; attribution recommended.
Pexels (pexels.com) — Free to use under the Pexels License. Attribution recommended.
Copyright belongs to the original creator of each image. Reuse or redistribution of images within the service is subject to the applicable license terms.
6. Service Content Copyright
All learning content, guide text, UI design, and logos within the Service are owned by BeginCAMERA. Users may reference content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or creation of derivative works is prohibited.
7. Third-Party Service Disclosure
The Service uses the following third-party services.
- Google Fonts: Your IP address may be transmitted to Google's servers when fonts are loaded.
- Cloudflare: Provides service infrastructure and security. Cloudflare may collect access logs.
- OpenAI API: Used for AI analysis. Image data is transmitted to OpenAI servers.
8. Affiliate Link Disclosure
Gear recommendation pages may contain affiliate links from Coupang Partners and Naver Shopping Partners. If you purchase through these links, BeginCAMERA may receive a commission, but no additional cost is passed to you.
Product recommendations are based on user benefit, independent of any commission.
9. Prohibited Activities
- Uploading content that is illegal or infringes on others' rights (copyright, portrait rights, reputation, etc.)
- Overloading or disrupting normal operation of the service
- Mass requests using automated tools (including scraping and crawling)
- Reverse-engineering or unauthorized copying of the service's source code or algorithms
- Impersonating other users or third parties, or spreading false information
10. Disclaimers
- AI Analysis Results: Photo analysis, gear recommendations, and camera setting estimates provided by AI are reference information and accuracy is not guaranteed.
- Gear Purchases: Prices, availability, and performance of recommended gear may change at any time. We are not liable for the outcome of purchase decisions.
- Service Availability: BeginCAMERA does not guarantee uninterrupted service and is not liable for service interruptions due to maintenance, failures, or force majeure.
- Third-Party Services: We are not liable for service impact caused by failures or policy changes of third-party services such as OpenAI, Cloudflare, or Google.
- External Links: We are not responsible for content or transactions on external sites accessed through affiliate shopping links.
11. Content Creation and Accuracy
The learning content in this service (beginner guides, shooting techniques, editing tutorials, etc.) was created with the assistance of AI.
Content is based on general knowledge about photography theory and techniques and does not reproduce any specific source without authorization.
Variable information such as gear specs, software features, and prices is based on the time of writing and may differ from current reality. All content is for reference only.
12. Service Changes and Suspension
BeginCAMERA may change or suspend part or all of the Service without prior notice. Material changes will be announced within the Service.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from use of the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts.
